I'm too young to even remember this. Based on my only experiences with regulations, these are crazy. Makes me wonder what it'll be like 20 years from now.

It unnerves me to think there are adults among us that were too young to remember 1996. It doesn't seem that long ago to me. :P

By the way, despite most of the minimum sizes and bag limits becoming more restrictive, there is one limit that has since been increased from that year.
Does anyone notice which one it is?

The lowly blue fish Bob.
What bothers me with all these regulations...we have had them for many, many years and they don't seem to have helped any at all with them now being way more restrictive than they were at the onset. I thought these regulations were supposed to help the fish. Has to be something wrong with the way the regulators are going about it if things keep getting worse. 5hrug
Time to evaluate the regulators and how good of a job they are doing.

Sea bass aren't even on the list....
No limit on winter founder.. ( loved that fishery !)

The problem with regulators is that there is no measurement for success. Lets face it they just pass untested rules for the people and then give a free pass to some foreign country to suck our natural resources dry. In some points of history this act was called treason. Today it is called regulation without representation!
