The tide I was looking for was later today, so I went to the Point Pleasant canal at 10:30 figuring the action would start at around 11:15 if the pattern I figuered out during the week was holding out. Real stiff wind blowing from the west and couldn't cast into it well. Fished for 2 hours, and not a bite. Plenty of fisherman. The weakies are still around as one guy I know took 5 on sandworms earlier, well before I got there. I'll give it another shot Monday morning, to crowded on the weekends for me. Here is a pic of 6 of the 8 I took yesterday. Largest was 23 1/2 inches, and 4 1/2 pounds.

Oh for sure, I have no complaints at all, except maybe for having to clean to many fish. I was just curious to see how late in the day this pattern would hold out. Prolly not past 10:30/11 is my guess. Fish were there feeding earlier, as evidenced by my friend picking up 5 on sandworms earlier. I tend to avoid it weekends, as to many fisherman and to many boats, and it's a hard enough spot to fish as it is, but wanted to see how late in the day the pattern would hold out.
