Title: Bottom fishing Tuesday
Post by: Reefsquatter on July 23, 2014, 08:15:48 AM
Jumped on an open boat bottom trip outta Point Pleasant Beach. Started off as a whale watch, boat was able to get about 20 feet from him. Bottom fishing pick, a few nice sea bass around the boat, ling for me. Took a long run (which was very appreciated as there were only 9 on the boat) hit the ling good here then some really nice winter flounder made there appearance. Got one that was nearly at the keeper fluke mark on the board, good eats. The boat was a fish or two shy of a boat limit on the winter flounder (two each)
Hope to be back at it again next week!
