Title: Flukin' 7/23 Eve.
Post by: wb on July 24, 2014, 03:49:54 PM
Another Weds. night on the HB2FAST with Tom. Headed between the channels as the outgoing started, well, going out. Nice evening, got nicer when the cold front moved thru.

I picked up a fluke each, on consecutive drifts, one on the bucktail and the other on the teaser. Tom had no such luck. Started looking a lil iffy to the North and West, with lightning crashing and darkness advancing, but not yet nightfall. That was our cue to drop it in "L" for Leave, and hightail it back to the ramp in time to clean up before it got too late. Had a couple sodas and remarked at how well hydrated we managed to remain. Thanks Tom!
