i fished manasquan today and holy crap the fluke where thick we caught around 50 nice sized ones only probloem is they where all a few inches short of slot grrrrr and i got some holes in my finger from when i got bit by a snapper blue man that little crap drew blood i can see how a big chopper can take a finger or two off

Yeah Scott my brother in law fishes the river once a week he has been averaging 60 shorts to 1 keeper.....but those shorts are a lot of on light tackle t^

oh yeah i mainly used my medium action spinning rod with 8 lb test that was a blast using squid and killies
