Today I fished with Capt Joe aboard the Irish Ayes with Bob, Jim, Kevin and Lenny. We fished the local sticky stuff South of Shark river and later moved North. A few keepers in the morning along with nice Out of season Black Seabass rgmn . After noon in the North we got some good hits and Jim reels in a nice 27 3/4" 8lb Fluke. Soon after Capt. Joe pulls in a 7 3/8" 7.3 lb Fluke and we all had a bunch of Seabass to release. :P
Total 8 Keepers and countless shorts. A few small blues mixed in. The wind laid down nice in the afternoon. The fish preferred gulp curly tail grubs and 4" swimming mullet in yellow. They also liked the gulp plain on a hook without all the fancy stuff. "Skirts, spinner blades, etc.." Some were landed on squid/spearing too.
Thanks Joe for a fun day on the water t^
Tilt head to left to view pic :P
