Today Cashin and I took the boat in search of Striped Bass. We trolled 2 9ers eel umbrella rigs with spinning blades. 1 red 1 black along with a chartreuse stretch 25 down the middle. We tried all over Raritan bay, jersey side, Staten Island side. We did not see the whale from Yesterday.
Trolled all around the outside of the hook shallow/deep down to the highlands bridge and back. Jigged some RonZ on marks off the beach.
I saw tons of boats and nobody catching anything. I spoke to friend at marina who got some chunking bunker. The fish are out there but we did not find them. 53 miles traveled today...
Should of went for Sea Bass.

Tough trip, Eddie. I had the same results as you out to the east. There was a sunrise bite by Breezy but it seemed to slow as soon as I got there.
