Title: New York Boat Show
Post by: fluke - u on January 23, 2015, 06:32:05 PM
nosmly .. Every year I tell myself this is the last time I go to this lame show, and every year someone asks me to go with them and I say yes. This year was no different and the out come was the same. Same show as usual, take off your shoes for the high end boats, scan your drivers license to register for this and that. Same vendors same same same. I think you get the story here, If you did it once it's still the same ... thud

Scan your license?  I never did that as a boat show.  The AC show is the same thing. For the past few years, when I go for the "boat show", I just stay in the casinos. lol

I stopped going to the NY boat show when they changed the date and it fell between the holidays.  smk  Ain't nobody got time for that.

I have been going to the AC show and at least they have a decent amount of boating equipment to keep my interest in going.

Totally agree...by the time you pay just to go there...plus all the BS...it is not worth it.

I went last year but I was actually working at the Javitz  center.  I agree pretty lame.  If your not in the market for a boat don't bother.  If you go once every 5 years or so you will be up to date.
