Just wanted to let all of us who attempted to quit smoking thanks to Rod's post last year know.
I am proud to say today marks my 1 year anniversary of being smoke free. February 8 2015. I can honestly say I don't miss it and it's the best decision I have ever made.
So for everyone trying to quit or has quit keep up the good work.

Congrats to all who quit. It is not the easiest thing to do, you have to be motivated to do so. But it is well worth the effort to do it.

I quit in 1980, in prep for a career as a LEO. When I smoked there was no way I could have passed the physical endurance phase of testing. As with Uncle Luna, best decision I made. Been smoke free for 36 years now and never looked back.

So, if you think you can't quit and stick to not smoking, I am proof positive that you can.

Again, congrats to all.  slt

Well done to all who have tackled kicking what I have determined one of the worst addictions (nicotine) outside of drugs. I am currently at 20+ years since I quit smoking cigarettes. I grow concerned reading about Vaping and the amount of carcinogens that are contained within the formula. I realize that this is a substitute and segway away from the cigarettes but reading about it seems that it may be significantly worse for the body. When I quit, I was able to find fake/foam cigarettes that had nothing in them other than the psychological/physiological appeal that I was inhaling a cigarette. I used these for about two weeks at the end and was done. Again kudos to those who have made the effort, not an easy thing to kick! Keep at it and be strong...tie jigs  ;D. they make for a great distraction!!!!! TT^

There have been many "It's Ok for you" Studies.. And Many It's not put out by the cigarette companies..    Only time will tell..  but there are 11,000 chemicals in a cigarette.  4 in the vape..  May not be 'Good" for you.  but better that a cigarette.. t^ t^ t^

Rod, while I agree with the concept and yes, better than a cigarette, I have a family member who is personally involved with making the "Vape" formulas on a national basis////....scary to see the contents
