Fished Sunday 6-28 with 4 guys from work IBEW Local#3 and 2 of they're sons. After a short lesson on how to use a rod and reel and how to drag bait we stopped at Keansberg hole to produce a short fluke. Made a couple moves and joined the fleet off the navy pier. Mikes son Steve from Brooklyn landed his first fish ever, a short fluke. We picked away at shorts and many dogfish along with a searobbin. White gulp and stripped bunker that I snagged worked best. Tried a couple spots mid Raritan bay and Bouy 1 on the way in with no luck. Wind against tide . The day really turned out nice weather wise. First timer Steve was high hook with 7 fish. The guys can't wait to go again..

Thanks for the report Eddie. At least you got out for a few hours. The marine weather has not been conducive to good fishing of any type. I was suppose to fish on a NS tank on Friday for sea bass, but captain cancelled based on terrible forecast. Woke up Friday morning and it was 5 MPH wind and no rain. rgmn rgmn nts
