fished all dat got back to dock at 5pm fished on a friends boat horrible conditions couldnt hold bottom with 10-12 oz
most of the day fished sandy hook channel and inside and out side vz stiff north wind was wost even on incoming tide in side the wind pushed us out at 4knts looked like the party boats were doing just as bad 6 shorts 3 guys 9 hrs thd thd thd thd

4 knots .Not good ,need lots of food and drink at 4 knots .

At least you's stuck to it and didn't give up, and ya'll got shorts,,,,, I didn't catch a damn thing at work!
I just picked up a 54" drift sock off amazon for 32 bucks for days just like that. Hopefully it works as planned. Surely won't work for all conditions, but at least I can try to save the day.

Way too fast. Hopefully next time you can get lee of something and keep it at least under 2 kts. Good luck on your next trip. We have great expectations for September, it's been a tuff season for many. Tight lines.... chrz
