Title: Quick evening troll-Raritan Bay 10-7-15
Post by: Hunter 2 on October 08, 2015, 05:57:06 AM
We took Bobs boat out at 5pm and trolled mid-bay for a couple hours. Spoons, stretch 25's and an umbrella shad rig.   5hrug.  Tons of marks but no takers. The tide was high around 5pm.   A friend on another boat trolled up a short bass and news of others being landed on anchor in the evening on clams.  Next trip we will have eels and other baits to present. t^

Thanks for the report Eddie. Like us, only the residents are around, bait them up. From the reports east, it should bust wide open around the next week, two at the most. See you out there, good luck to all!  t^
