Hi guys my buddy and i are planning to target stripers around point pleasent and manasquan next weekend any tips on where to go il be using eels and sp minnows

I'd try canal... didn't see much Sat night but heard good things from a guy who was there the night before eeling.

Okay thanks where can you fish the canal from i know the area around alex's and riverfront park by the firehouse and i know where the railroad bridge is but i don't know where to access the canal from and i will be eeling

Do a mapquest for bradford drive, point pleasant nj for directions. That will also give you a picture of the area and you can see where it is from the places you are familiar with.

That works. You can get down to the water on either side right at the base of the 88 bridge or by the apartments at the mouth on the squan side. Good luck.
