Yesterday Big Al and I had the pleasure, no, I should say honor to fish with two really amazing Tog fishermen on the Tagged Fished. Those of you who Tog fish a lot and even those of you do don’t understand what separates’ the average fishermen from Tog Sharpies. Those few rare Sharpies are capable of sensing the mood of the Tog, they think like a Tog, they see like a Tog and some even go to the extreme and smell like a crab. Anything to catch the elusive Slippery Bass! Now, Tog don’t have the largest brains which make these two perfectly suited of channeling their inner Tog. Who am I talking about but none other than own Kenny and Rick Still Running. They are simply the Sharpest of the Sharpies.
We left the dock at 0600 with Kenny, Rick, Big Al, Jake up from Florida and me on board. Paulie was supposed to go but a last minute family matter prevented him from going. The early forecast called for stiff NE winds and 4 ~ 6 footers but that changed to slight westerly breeze and flat seas. The new Tagged fish is big, fast and has plenty of room. First stop was the Rattle Snake area and wasn’t too long after we came tight on the anchors that Kenny had the dollar fish on board. I had the next keeper and the Kenny, Rick, Kenny, Rick, Kenny, Rick one after the other. They were like machines. It was a sight to behold. Watch and learn was all I could think…………………….
Eventually the doggies showed and the Tog shut off. We moved inshore to a slow pick. The final keeper tally was Rick 7 plus a lobster, Jake 6 with the big fish of the day (7 Lber), Kenny 5, Me 4 or 5 and Big AL 3. If you ever get a chance to fish with Kenny or Rick don’t hesitate, in fact, pay their fare because you can’t put a price on show these to Sharpies put on.

Lol, clp Sorry I was away in NC and missed the clinic. I'm on the next 2 Tagged fish dates and will bring a video camera to film a documentary. Well done men! t^

One would think after reading that totally accurate report that you lost a bet or something !!
We had the usual suspects out for a tog trip on the Tagged fish.....
Rick, Fill, New Al, Jakemeister and myself..
Paule was on Grandchild watch and couldn't make this one... two more after this one and he's got a limit !!
Deal/bet was..
North guys vs South guys..
AL, Fill and Jake were fishing on behalf of the South..
Rick, Paule and myself were to fish for the North ..
Bet was...most fish in the box would be the victor...should we all limit out..tie breaker would be the biggest fish in their respective basket.
Loser had to carry all fishing gear to winners truck and write a over the top flattering report praising the winners fishing prowless !!!!
Funny thing happened..
Since Paule couldn't make it we told Fill he had to pick either Al or his Son Jake...
He picked Al...and the rest is history !!!
Of course Jake puts on a togging clinic all day winning the pool with a 7-8 pounder !!
Bloods thicker than water Fill !!! smk

Sorry I missed out on this one guys.
Good news is keeper Granddaughter #4 finally arrived on Sunday,and we get another "fish off" contest coming on the 20th as Rick and Fill tied on guessing the baby's weight. Only fair way to settle it. t^ chrz chrz

You guys both guessed 6 pounds 11 oz on Paules last Grandkid..
The fish off is between you and Rick for Uncle status ...
The victor is either Uncle Fill ... Or. ... Uncle Rick ...
Most fish landed .... If both limit .. Biggest fish is the tie breaker.
And Looser writes another over the top .. Flattering report about the winner !! You really have to go over the top on the report !!!

Best Tog fisherman in New Jersey !!

I would be willing to trade the Uncle status for calling it Taylor ham.
What trip is this fish off on 10th, 20th or 26th?
Maybe we should just do a grandkid off. Paule has to have another one due soon. :headscra:

Been there and done that on the "Greatest" fisherman report stuff. It's Pork Roll until Nov 22, 2016 and then you can start calling it the wrong thing again. You and your "life partner" Kenny will need to come up with something else. It's on the 20th.

As far as I am concerned you two never paid off on the bet.
You guys had Jake carry up the gear and he wasn't even in the bet.
One of you did was to manage to put dead crabs in my truck and now the new car smell is dead crab smell.
Seems like sore losers to me.
That is NOT over!
If you guys want a rematch on north vs south on the 20th just so you can do another "Greatest fisherman report" you can have it.
As far as I know paule is done with the new grandkids thing for awhile so we can do 3 vs 3 if you guys are man enough.
And....
You and me bubba boy on the 20th for the uncle bet.
