Left MI at 0545 this am with the crew with the plan to head to Little Italy since that was the only spot with near 64 degree water. It was flat calm and light wind. Hit the area and power chummed and shortly saw a big blue dog on the surface. Saw another free jumper in the distance and that was it! Had a very slow drift. Finished the day N or SRR in the mud hole and had zero drift requiring us to motor it. Had one gummed bait to show for the second pail of chum.
Saw dolphins, a sea turtle and some small bait (anchovies?) Getting harassed for a minute by some football BFT that came and went just like that.
No meat to show for the trip but, it was still a good trip. All talk on the radio was slow.
