With my Alaska vacation behind me I was finally able to get the boat in order.
Took the Irish Ayes out today for a shake down run and a few hours of fishing. Motor ran great and boat handled well. All systems go.
Had Big Dave, Naked Eddie and Jeff on board for the festivities. Hit several spots from Shark River inlet to the Red Church. We caught twenty fat fluke with five of them being keepers. The keepers came from deeper water (3+ miles out). I released my first keeper to bring good karma to the boat for the season. Worked pretty good as I had three of the five keepers. Also had a 14" sea bass to put on ice.
Now it's time to look for that double digit flattie. Will be back at it again Monday.

Nothing worth weighing in this trip Mike. Just under 21" was the biggest. No way would that hold up this month. TT^
