Started the day leaving very early to beat the low tide and ghas up. Low tide caused me to suck some mud into motor and of course while under way to Manasquan check out, temp alarm goes off... After a few mins of cool down and hard reverse was able to blow it out and clear it. No more issues....Set up for shotgun start and off we went to the way north. Wiggled, bobbed , weaved and picked at fish/shorts as usual and ten moved a little further south. Found some pot markers and tried those areas with a couple keepers. Another move to the south and one of the productive spots started paying off with some bigger fish. Dropped two that were definitely bigger but didn't see them. Sean then hooks into a nicer fish that was thick. Thought it would ,make 7ish - scales said 5.5. Picked up a few more quality fish by Steve who was dragging bait. Called it a day to weigh in an d enjoy some clams at the picnic...maybe next year! Took a day off Sunday to relax....Maybe one more shot this weekend for our board pool....

Great running into you there. This year had a lot of that for me personally talking to people who I connected with other people I knew and they did as well.
