We have been trying to get off for the past week and finally got our day yesterday. Left the dock at 0600 with Jason and Greg. No good intel on any fish around ( Our Range ) and a limited supply of clean water.. Calm Seas made for a nice ride out.. stopping here and there on floaters looking for Mahi..
Found a patch of clean water about 40 out S of the Rezor and worked it hard all day up until 5:PM. some marks.. some life but Nothing but Bluefish.. All ares N E and S were green..
150 Mile 13 hour round trip we gave it our all.. can't catch them in front of the PC..
Used Terrafin Charts (http://www.terrafin.com/) to find that clean water. Getting an account today. this is a must have..
We did catch this looking fo Mahi under it.. ;D

Nothing happening East.. The good thing about going during the week is there are less boats, and Captains are easier with their Intel about the location they are fishing because there aren't 200 boats that will come running your way..
There were boats all over them.. But 75 Miles out.. just didn't have that in me to run another 40 miles.. and wasn't too sure of where they were. I had an idea.. but not worth the run when we had all the proper conditions where we were.. guess the fish didn't know about the area I was in : )
