Went old school today except did my run backwards. Left at 5am to pick up my friend and got to sandy hook about 630am. Hit a local tackle shop then shifted into sea bright to test a few new lures. Moved on down to Asbury Park. 40 surfers but only a couple guys fishing the jetty. One of them pulled in a nice fluke so I loaned him my measuring tape to size it up. Nice 22" fish caught with sand fleas. Held no joy for us, so headed on to Belmar Marina. Lots of bait and a few short fluke. Hit seaside for lunch then pushed on to IBSP. My friend landed a nice 20" fluke after about 5 minutes of bucktailing. Hit on the teaser. Stayed there a few hours then made our way back to Manasquan looking for another friend. Ended the day at home at 8:45pm
