With not much going on and nice shark reports from last week we went to the mudhole ,17 Fathoms area and gave it our best shot at sharking.
We had all the right stuff out there as far as gear and mako magnet, power chum barrel , scents and Jaws movie playing on the flatscreen but nobody was home. Water was clean 70 degrees and our slick ran as far as we could see. Not a nibble to be had on our baits. We occasionally put the Jets game on the flatscreen but Jaws was more entertaining.
Heading back to Keyport we played catch and release with small cocktail blues 2.5 miles off Highlands bridge. The birds were working and they were feeding on spearing. The wind laid down very nice in the afternoon.

Playing these weather windows lately is worse than trying to get offshore. Another great attempt, its only a matter of time before you put the hooks in em. Recently had 8 Fluke with 3 keepers all thrown back off the bow of the Bull, unreal chrz
