whats up everyone....been awhile but im back!
Got the call sat morning to jump on with my good friend for a quick afternoon run out of Manasquan. hit the inlet by 3 and made a right turn. Tons of bunker schools...stopped on a few for baits and let some drop down bit nothing on them....continued south east and stopped just inside the line and put the sread out. Great marks and loads of baitfish when the Imitator reel started peeling.....after a nice fight had my first fall bass at 36 lbs in the boat...lines back out and despite a ton of marks, no runoffs until just before sunset when we came tight on a nice Bonito. At dark we had bass boiling around and dropped livies and plugs but no commitments....seems when the south wind came it shut down. Nice weather and good company!...only gets better from here on out!
