Long story long,,,,got home past midnight after an overtime gone long...everyone waiting at dock on time at 6 am but my truck that just came back from mechanic after a week and received its new inspection sticker would not turn over fcp.....after a futile attempt at getting her going ....finally had to admit to the boys at the dock our trip was in jeopardy....Joes heading my way with Pat Im calling AAA...Joe shows up with Pat AAA sends battery jumper when I clearly stated Tow!...Joe swears he has hitch,,,,,no hitch,,,have spare hitch in garage but no locking pin...off too walmart...purchase pin, back home tow truck there, remove truck to mechanic back joes truck up hitch perfectly the realize 7 pin trailer has 4 pin, off to autozone for multi no F-up adapter..install and works perfectly, off to Sayreville, boat in water lines in by 10, fish on by 10:03...big big fishy, ol'Reliable Pat nails fish in head with net and kicks her off to swim another day(his feet literally slipped out from under him as he reached for her)...an eery silence went over the boat with much eye contact but no words....(What the hell was that!).....few quite minutes later slow laughter and chuckles....Pat staring off into space.....on video and now titled.."The Miss"...after that we settled into a slow groove getting our limit with some throwbacks....fished cleaned and fillet and at pub for Happy Hour by 4!....what a DAY! chrz chrz chrz last picture is a still from "The Miss"

Damn , you have a lot more perseverance than I ,but in the end ,you guys reaped the rewards .Way to pull the rabbit out've the hat . chrz

that first half of the story reminds me of the days with my first boat. In short, WE FIND OR MAKE A WAY TO GET THERE. LOL
