Had to get out today, especially with the upcoming blow predicted for tomorrow and Sunday.
Went on the Sea Hunter....11 fares....Rob chased birds in the deeper channels.....all shorts for the boat and not one keeper. Saw the Gambler up by us, so I guess the action is slow south.
Plenty of action and worth a day on the water. t^
I wonder if the fall run is about to peter out?
Last year at this time the weather was great and a fair number of keepers for everyone.

Nice report. Lotsa action on the Gambler too from what I heard, but lack of keepers there too. 5hrug

last year we were catching line siders well after new years TT^
-
I heard that off IBSP and off the beach at A10 there were stripers caught mostly shorts but a couple keepers.
-
I remember catching blue fish into January off of Captain Robbins out of Sea Isle City last year. t^

Small fish are better than the skunk. Got tired of short bass and went Toggin today. <'((((><

I'm hoping for an XBOX 360 for Christmas. Then you have a happy medium of high-def fishing video games right from your couch. Grab a beer and put on a Jimmy Buffet CD and you're set 'til Winter Flounder season!
