Title: Roosters Flukin 7-12-2017
Post by: Peterooster on July 12, 2017, 06:35:10 PM
Tom and I left our slip at 7AM this morning armed with Tom’s giant Killies for bait. Stopped at East end of breakwater to get us set up for Fluke, it  wasn’t long before Tom had a keeper Fluke @ 18 1/4”. The drift continued with a strong West wind pushing us against the tide as I caught many shorts, some missing by 1/4”. No keepers for me as the action died and we went searching near the Ammo Pier and other spots around the bay. Finding few fish we returned to the breakwater for the end of the tide. Headed in about noon as the heat was getting to us, with one keeper Fluke. Very few boats out! Pete
