Hit up the beach for the 0049 tide. Light wind was just enough to keep the bugs away and eventually switched to a NW.
Fished 2300'ish to 0130, nothing to show for it. Used 5oz, 4oz probly woulda done the job. Bait was mackeral.
Weather was nice, tons of stars and a nice lit beach once moon came up. There was a decent amount of people on the beach still though.
Seems like everyone has a tent this year, and like to drive 20mph down the beach,, don't know what the rush is.

Had light winds yesterday morning down there. Definitely wasn't enough to to keep the Greenheads away. Also ended up with nothing. Not even a sniff of the bait. South end was closed off just after the last entrance onto the beach
