Another mixed week with borderline water conditions. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday will have chances of showers and/or thunderstorms. Monday and Friday will have scattered to widely scattered, even more organized showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be strong to severe. Tuesday and Thursday will have more isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be a little cooler this week in the 70’s and 80’s with lows in the 50’s to 70’s. Humidity will be moderate to high. Water conditions will be borderline for inshore waters with winds to 15 knots and seas to 4 feet. Midshore to offshore waters will be cautious with winds to 25 knots and seas to 7 feet.  Surf and beach conditions will be good to borderline with a Low to Moderate Risk of Rip Currents. Water temperatures are steady in the 70’s and low 80’s. UV Index will be Low to Very High at 2-10/15.

A frontal boundary will remain over our area overnight. Low pressure will ride eastward along the front and it should pass through our area on Monday. A second low will follow on Monday night and Tuesday as the boundary sinks slowly to the south.
High pressure is forecast to build down from the northwest for the middle part of the week. A cold front from the northwest is anticipated to arrive on Friday. The front is expected to move slowly to our southeast over the weekend as areas of low pressure travel along it.

The Atlantic Tropics are quiet.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!
