Title: 8/5 T Jetty AC
Post by: Takes Prizoners on August 05, 2017, 08:58:29 PM
seeing mixed weather reports last night, we decided to hit the jetty in AC. woke up at 4 to pouring rain. we were supposed to leave at 5. pushed that back to 6. Hit the road and got into ac just about 8am. walked out to the jetty getting the scoop from other anglers. word was short tog, short sea bass, fluke, snappers, and triggers. Tried targeting fluke first but no one home. switched to the shiny stuff for some blues but much the same story. Helped out a couple kids on vacation rigging them up and giving them the run down. Then, THEY CAUGHT MORE FISH THAN WE DID. LOL. Moved all of us down to the end after a short while and we all were getting bites but only a few 13" tog made it to the surface.
After running out of rigs, we headed for lunch and then home by 430ish. Fun day, now got to learn to read all those Terrafin charts. lol

Great report. The kids will never forget that you tied them a special rig. The good will come back to you many times over.  chrz
