Title: 7/27 DCC Sand bar

Headed out this morning for some fluking.
picked up grass in the channel and got an over heating alarm..  shut down engine to clean grass.. fast drift put me on an ankle deep sand bar..  sat there for an hour trying to rock off till a guy threw me a rope and pulled me off..   headed back in and called it a day rgmn

They need to come back and widen that channel in some places. Wouldnt be suprised if that channel isnt closed in a year or 2.

 Another fish story in the book. At least you didn't suffer any damage to the boat, Catchem up next time.

Well the engine was up.. so no damage.. I did get a nice rope out of it since I couldn't take it off after he pulled me off..  Nice guy. I should have gotten his number to get his rope back..

I bet you had chairs on the boat, didn't ya? Having them on the boat is an open invitation for a beach party.  ;D
