Title: Big Mohawk Toggin 1/23
Post by: mgm on January 23, 2008, 06:25:17 PM
Another good blackfish trip on the Big Mohawk.

Nice day on the water and the Capt. did very well on 3 drops today.  Quite a few fish in the 8-10 lb class, almost all caught on white leggers. t^

My fishing buddy and I stayed with the greenies and 4 nice keepers were taken.

Mates said that with the colder weather, the white leggers just produce better....I'm a believer as the same happened last week.

Got to try one more week, as long as they are going and the weather holds.  Next time I will get the white leggers if they are available.

Nice catch.  I heard the Fisherman's Den had white leggers last week.  I wouldn't know personally though, as I haven't had a chance to get out in too long of a time.   bngh

Great report, now if we can only start getting something off the surf.  I am told they are getting shorts every so often on small plugs and metal in the AVA 007 to 17 range.  I will have to try it this Sunday.

Taking my daughter into Phila. to Dave & Busters on Saturday for her B-day party and some R&R.
