i picked up a couple mylure lures, and they dont have any hooks, sooo, i assume i have to rig them or are they teasers? they have a line in them with a crimped loop that can be attached to something.
they look similar to these,,,, and for the record, yes i feel about as dumb as this post sounds, but hey, if i knew it all i'd be rich and on my own island somewhere.

Good Question. ;D
Maybe I can make this a FAQ Title
What the hell do I do with these? ;D

I bought something similar to these a few years back. It looked to me that the looped line was for display purposes at the store. I cut them off and rigged em with hooks, etc. If I was wrong with doing that, who cares, they worked. ;D

Hi,
They are standard "jet" lures. They will attract many species. Which version are those (i.e. bullet - they look it)? The jet will create all kinds of commotion and bubbles.
They are obviously unrigged as purchased. Not too hard to rig them with 10/0 or 11/0 hooks. Schoolie bluefin and especially bluefish in the Mudhole will love them.
Have fun,

Hi Wing,
I am stumped everytime I leave the inlet looking for fish (LOL). Most of the time things tend to work out.
Thanks,
Ed
