I'm thinking about heading up Thursday.  Since the holidays are over it looks like I may finally have a day free to do whatever. ;D  If I'm there in the late afternoon I'll stop by and see you Sam. t^

Went up yesterday afternoon for a bit.
Overall it was ok.  90% hunting and looked like those guys were enjoying it.  Maybe 6 booths of fishing stuff.  Saw a few deals, but nothing earth shattering.  Sat for a brief seminar by J.B. Kasper on surf fishing.  it was good as an intro to surf fishing, but didn't get too deep into anything as it was only 45 minutes.
And there wasn't too many off topic vendors....some, but manageable.

That area is my old neighborhood, so i went and saw some friends and made a day of it.  other then that, for salt fishing alone, wouldn't have been worth the trip.  But if your into hunting, etc. it's probably worth the $10.

Thanks!
That does it for me. I won't fight the snow for that.

Bucktail, I don't know if I missed you or not. Someone was there looking for me before I got there.

Show was really quiet last night. I spent more time talking to people from JCAA, RFA, UBNJ and the Federation as well as some friends working at outfitter's booths.

AS far as NJOA, I talked to a few people about the bills we are supporting. Some people were just bitching about the crossbows and the Fish & Game council.

We're not regulation, we're legislative.   ;)

I would think tonight would be a better turnout though. Snow on Saturday and the Giants game on Sunday are gonna keep people indoors.

I'll be at the Salt Water show for sure. That show, I like!  t^

I was there last night. The show wasn't bad but it's mostly hunting. It was not very crowded. I spent about 2 hours there mostly talking to people I knew. It was something to do on a Thursday night. I'll be in AC at the seminars on Saturday and watching the Giants on Sunday so I don't think I'll be going back.

Yeah, that was me Sam.  Stopped by around 4:30, just before we left.  I had my daughter with me.  Sorry I missed you.

It was nice to get out and take her somewhere instead of staying in the house all day.  I took her to the wild animal show.  She thought that was great!  ;D

That show is not one of the better ones, but it was still nice to get out. t^
