When do you guys start striper fishing?

I will start fishing the hudson river in April . My best is a 35 pounder right by the Tappen Zee .After they move up the river I will be up in Stoney Point N.Y . We will go up the the round out after that and it is over and I will be at the hook this year if I don't sell my boat. t^

New Jersey is now going to require a special high priced license to sell a boat within state lines, so you are better off just keeping it. TT^  <'((((><

I'm still striper fishing and catching.  I am about to change over to small clams pieces as the water is getting colder and the metabolize of the striper is slowing way down and they are only taking small bits so as not to exert any more strength as is necessary.

March 1st is when I start. It is all land based till April.
