This Action Alert is being developed to enhance our ability to communicate and to further expand our sphere of influence. All communications will be sent by an NJOA representative. These communications will be related to outdoor issues; specifically natural resource conservation, hunting, fishing and trapping.
It is important that we are all active in monitoring the threats and opportunities related to New Jersey's outdoor interests and to protect our rights and privileges. So, make a difference and be a part of the grassroots effort that is changing New Jersey into a state that appreciates and utilizes the principles of conservation.

New Jersey Outdoor Alliance Accomplishments
• Founded August 2007
• Organized outdoor oriented groups to defeat two “outdoor unfriendly” legislators
• Founded NJOA Conservation Foundation representing outdoor interests: Angling, Hunting, Trapping, Shore Protection, Scuba Diving, Forestry, Conservation
• Hired lobbying firm to promote NJOA outdoor interests.
• Initiated New Jersey’s first Angling, Hunting, and Conservation Caucus with 25 state legislators.
• Helped to elect a NJ Congressman
• Currently advancing 5 outdoor related pieces of legislation
• Organized a response to defeat antis from banning hunting on the Shrewsbury and Navesink Rivers
• Organized a resonse to keep bow hunting in Wall Township
• Founded the NJOA charitable organization for habitat restoration. One project already operational.
• Developed “Action Alert” network for outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen
• NJOA has gained the respect and developed working relationships with legislators throughout New Jersey. Be a part of the action.
