Sailed on the AS out of Cape May on Tues.Fishing was pretty good pick.Left the dock at 1:30 Tuesday morning and returned about 6:30 Tuesday evening.
Rained a good part of the day and the winds brought the wind chill to an uncomfortable 30ish degrees.
The boat had a good supply of quality skimmers for bait.Nice mix of fish on bait and jigs with the jigs getting the nod for the best quality fish.
Weds morning I weighed my personal best sea bass on Pathmark scale. The beauty came in at 7.65 lbs and earned me second place pool. There must have been 10 other fish that I just managed to beat. The 1st place fish was 8 lbs plus.
No dogs a half dozen or so blues and some eels rounded out the catch.
