Hey now,

Went on the Ocean Explorer out of Belmar, NJ today.  We had a crowd of about 30 folks.  We fished everywhere.  As far north as the off the Hook to the outer rim of the Mud Hole.  I caught two keeper Blackfish.  The largest was 3 pounds. Some folks had a keeper or two and a good number of folks had zero.  Mine were caught using Shrimp.  Green crabs produced nothing for me today.

The pool winner was six pounds. 

I have a couple of fish pics and a couple of ocean pics.

Next for me is fishing on my birthday in February in the Mud Hole for Ling.  Can't wait.

Good try Jim. I spoke to a few guys getting off the Big Mohawk and they had a slow day also. That's fishing for ya. At least you were out.  t^

I was out on the OE yesterday also......as reported, nice day, covered quite a bit of territory, but the bite was not on.....my corner of the boat saw one keeper, crabs weren't even being nibbled on by bergalls on some drops....definitely got the skunk today.....nice day on the water anyway...did get a chance to talk to the "Great American fisherman" but not as site members....next time.....hope the fat lady hasn't sung on the blackfish season....we shall see.
