Thats a great commercial  rofla  Back in the early 80's I was working at my buddies sporting goods store and we sold Old Town canoes.. They where one of the first to use plactics.. long before Triumph or Logic came along with the bigger stuff.. Their Discovery series was (and still is) made out of a polyethylene/foam sandwich called crosslink.. Shortly after it's introduction,  I was up at their factory picking up a load for the store, and the rep showed off the toughness of the material by throwing a canoe off the roof of their 6-7 story  building.. It about folded in half on impact, but sprung right back into shape.. It is truly tough stuff, great for canoes/kayaks, but I'm not sure if I'd want a bigger boat made of plastic for various reasons..but they do have thier advantages.  t^

They have a demo derby down south where you tow a boat around behind you like that.  Winner is whomever has the most boat left still!
