Do any of you target ling from S. hook? Where is a good place to look for them?  Don't hear much about these fish ?

party boats catch them, most of the time they target ling, and cod on the same trip.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.

You use to catch them in the spring when the flounders were heading out on the cedars, you can try the scotland grounds. Jump on a party boat  right now for them, there fishing the mudhole.

i get them in april, may and june at the scotlands and the rattlesnake / s rocks and west side of s.h.reef....right now is party boat time as stray cat says....water needs to warm a little for inshore bite. nobody sailing out of a.h. right now so head down pt. pleasant....i like the pm trips a little better as far as the bite goes and not as many pesky dogs!
