Salmon and Oswego River information
« on: March 13, 2009, 06:00:03 PM »
Hey now,

I am looking for rod , reel, line, weights, bait information for fishing either the Salmon or Oswego rivers this time of year.  For browns and steelhead.  If you know what to use, plus hook size and other information I would truly appreciate it.

If you would not mind, a PM would be great.  Then I can save it in my email account.

Be good!

Jim, I agree with Catfish. First time up, get a guide. Well worth the price.

I was there only once years ago. I would not have known where to start without a guide.

I believe you need korkers or some type of spikes to get into certain areas also. Someone who frequents the area may be able to verify that.

Good luck when you go.  t^

If you want to catch fish in the Salmon river, look up Skeeter Scoville

I will try to find his number. Here is a link for his partner.

Tell Tony you would like to fish with Skeeter
