Winter Flounder Opening Day??????

The last two days I have heard rumors that opening day is Saturday the 21st.

Gone to the State website but cannot substainsate this.

Anyone have any info?

The above is correct. March 23 start. The regs remain in effect from the previous year if there are no announced changes.  t^

St. Patty's day was always the "unofficial" winter flounder opener in my youth! So much for tradition now that almost all fisheries are regulated.

I been thinking about that all day ,I always took off today and went fishing now I have to wait to go monday .I always liked flounder in the morning and beer in the afternoon

Pete at Pell's Fish & Sport called the State today and they confirmed that it is Monday!
