Tog-A-Holic, CT
« on: October 24, 2008, 04:13:42 PM »
OK..... I'm addicted. Seriously.... I need help. Intervention or something is in order.

Tap, tap, tap..... DAMN!!!  Tap, tap, tap... I'm on!!!

Tap, tap tap... jump on deck and  :cursing-text:.... Tap, tap tap.... WHOA!!!!

LOL.... after a whole season of chartering and chasing bait, working tides, finding the bite. It's so damn much fun to just pick a spot, get on the hook and mindlessly play with the white chins.

Today was a classic with my son Pat. We plowed through 5 dozen+ crabs and had a blast tugging with the togs. Again we didn't find the big one but we had a ton of fish in the 3 -7 pound class and enjoyed every minute of it.

I'm getting ready now to prep the fillets for deep batter frying and seal up the balance for the winter. After my last few trips I'm all stored up for togfish cakes on Christmas Eve. :)

Here's a few pics...

Great report and nice catch!  It's nice that your regs allow more than one fish this early!!

Your opening statement is too funny. I have the same experience on my boat with the guys stomping their feet and all. Tog fishing is a great way to make a grown man cry.  rofla

Nice report and catch Capt.  t^
