Pequest Open House and Fishermen's Flea Market April 4 and 5
The NDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife will once again open its doors to the public for its annual Open House at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center. This year's event will be held on April 4 and 5 from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. daily.
This popular event gives the Division of Fish and Wildlife an opportunity to show off its state of the art trout raising facility, and showcase the multitude of programs the Division is responsible for. The Open House also serves as a reminder that spring, and the Opening Day of Trout Season (April 11) is just around the corner.
There will be fishing activities for kids, beginner archery and shotgun ranges, displays by conservation organizations, a Fishermen's Flea Market and food vendors all available at the Open House, as well as lectures and wildlife artists.
