Lures Work Better with Loop Knots

Hi All,

Most lures work better if attached to the line or leader with a loop knot. This allows a more natural action.

Can you use these loop knots with a dropper loop cut on one end?? I'm trying some fluke rigs and I usually just thread the teaser directly through a dropper loop but can you use this type knot at the end of a cut dropper loop or will ot spin to much??

When I first started fly fishing I was told to do this and was told to use a very scientific tool to see how it works, a bathtub.  I tied one wooly bugger with a clinch knot and another with a loop knot and then pulled them through the water in the tub to see how each looked.  I also use a tub to see how my "experimental" flies go through the water.

when using jigs,plugs or metal I always tie a snap at the end of my leader it allows the bait to swing just like a loop! Its also easier to change lures.
