4/17 The No Flounder Report
« on: April 17, 2009, 06:06:21 PM »
Headed out bright and early with the John Thomas Charter. Spirts were high conditions perfect. I had high hopes after a fait pick the day before, wow was I wrong.

Fished from the Keyport Flats, to Keansburg, to Round Shoal, to Navy Peir to the Shrewsbury River, must have made 18 drops, stayed out longer hoping to find fish. NOTHING

The whole day I saw 2 Flounder and three short Bass landed, with all the HEad Boats, Six Packs and PRivate boats out it should have been a good pull.....nothing.

Put enough chum in the water to feed the entire Bio-Mass, well i have a few more Gray Hairs

All in all the boys had a great time on the water on a perfect day.............

Back at it tomorrow 5hrug

Capt. Bob,
It was a great trip even if we didn't catch.  You could not have worked harder. I look forward to another trip later in the season. Next time I won't bring all those bananas.  TT^
Thanks,  John T.
