Reel Class Flounder 4/25
« on: April 25, 2009, 08:52:53 PM »
Had Paul Lukas charter the boat along with his dad Ralph, and buddies Jim, Dave, and Nick.

Fished the river, had a very slow pick all day long. Made at least 10 drops, fished all over, but only Had 2 quick flurries - that was it. Put 5 nice fish in the box -- one flurry was at slack believe it or not and the other was mid-outgoing tide.

We're gonna give the flounder one more day tomorrow then go from there - if the bite is NG we'll make a change this week.

Great crew, great weather, just wish the catching was better!

Good report Capt. It was slow out there today. Don't know that it will get better or if it is all over for the season.  :P

Way to get some keepers under tough conditions!  I was thinking about trying for them Monday.  But even with the warming trend this weekend it doesn't look like the flounder bite has turned on at all. nosmly
