Thought I was done repairing!

 Lost most of last season for major repairs, including , replacing the lower shift cable to lower unit . Went out today to get her ready only to find that the motor sounds great but, it once again won't shift.  rgmn rgmn rgmn rgmn rgmn
What could have possibly changed since last season???  Everything was working perfectly. Has this happened to any of you???

Mine did that after a long winter and I think a little rust got in the cable . Give it a good shot .Don't hurt ruggys head ;D

Shoulda felt my head pounding after I got done bouncing my head off the bottom of the boat in disgust. Not to worry , my friends Jack and Daniels made me feel better !    chrz

OK, so I disconnected the remote cable and lower unit shifts fine !  So now what ?? 5hrug

Lube it up real good. My old Evenrude used to get tight. If I lubed it up and kept working it back and forth it was ok.
