Sailed an Open Boat Bottom fishing with 5 anglers today.
Had Patrick Sr. and Patrick Jr aka stripped bass from the site,
Joe jigama, chuck, and J.T. Headed off to go Bottom fishing in the BRISK BREEZE...
Seen a bunch of bird play on the way to bottom fishing so... we did a few drifts with Jigs... LOTS Of blues... Patrick Sr. the BIRTHDAY BOY, has a Nice keeper Birthday Bass! Did another drift all blues...
Headed of to anchor up, when we got offshore... it got pretty dumpy... Anchored up and started picking a few ling... Slow pick But again Pat Sr.had the early hot hand ... even taking a break to let the others catch up...Pat Jr took over boxing a bunch of nice ling!!! Joe and chuck put a few in da box and john was sleeping in the cabin.
Pat Jr also had a couple of keeper seabass and 3 keeper size blackfish to around 6-7lbs ALL REALEASED.
Made a few Drops In 50-60 ft n calmer water on the way in but were void of Hungry seabass.
We wound up with Around 50 ling, 1 keeper striper, and kept a couple blues for friends..
Tough conditions but we made the best of it...
