Capt.Ron/Fishermen/3 days in a row!!!
« on: May 13, 2009, 03:57:42 PM »
Can't call what we've had the past 3 days "Good Fishing". Today the action was a bit better than it's been, but the Blues made the differance. Had a couple keeper bass, nothing to brag about, and the bluefish for some action. Sounds like a new body of fish are making thier way up the beach, that and the fact that all those fat females are most likely spawing should have things back to normal by next week. Same situation last season, we had that lull and on the 16th of May, all hell broke loose!!
Just have to tough it out and pay our dues for the next couple of days....Capt.ron

Seems like the catching in the ocean is starting to pick up also. They should be up your end soon to give a good show.  t^

Today was tough Capt.Ron, I saw you pull anchor and motor back to the marina. I did not have much luck with Stripers today. :P
