Wed. and Fri. search for stripers.
« on: May 23, 2009, 01:23:53 PM »
Wed. after work with a bushel of clams by rockaway and romers produced a 18-1/2" fluke 2 short bass and lots of blues.

Friday headed out at 7am and ran south looking for the achers of bunker and big bass I have been reading about. Made it as far as AP but saw no life but this cool whale.  Can anyone ID it.

It had to be at least 30 feet. Saw him come out with his mouth wide open. it was excellent.
After messing around down there we headed back north and went by rockaway and managed to get 3 keepers on clams. Lots of boats out there.
My buddy mark with his first bass ever

And my buddy George with his first keeper ever.
