Capt.Ron/Fishermen/Mondays Bassin
« on: June 01, 2009, 04:46:44 PM »
Had a pick of fish in the AM, shorts and a few keepers but the bite didn't last long. Took a ride and my buddy Sal hooked me up with some fresh bait...Jim Tobak thanks you as he landed today's pool fish at 22 pounds! Had another fish at 20 and a handfull of keepers.
Biggest Bluefish I've seen in a long time also...Current ran to the South all day even though the incoming started at 9:00am, go figure!
Anchor Joe got the skunk off with a keeper and birthday boy Andy (50 again) was way too jumpy on the hook set..patience andy!! Nice day on the water, just wish the bite had been better...capt.ron
