I like to use Boat soap in a bucket of water with a scrub brush on a stick and a smaller brush to use by hand. Sometimes bleach cleaners leave a chalky residue. Rubber boots help too. On the dock we clean the cutting board, rags, knives, Clam whacker, cooler, measuring board, with soap. The rods and reels get rinsed with plain water. The boat gets cleaned inside and out.  Don't forget the fish box. I like to use rain-ex on the windows to help with spray and fogged up conditions. t^

We wash the whole boat with a biodegradable boat soap. The rods and reels get a light wash with the soap then rinsed with a light shower spray. I don't use bleach if I don't have to because it will take off the wax and can leave a film. Rain-X is great for the windows. Don't forget the details like fish box, live well, knives, rags, buckets, bait board, etc. MOST IMPORTANT, Don't forget to flush the engines with fresh water. I flush them for about 10 min each, sometimes longer. They will usually flush the whole time the boat is getting washed.

Diluted bleach on non skid deck. Especially after snagging bunker. Be carefull with bleach because it is a corrosive. Don't forget the bilge.

I call my bride while I'm returning from my fishing trip.Ask her if she wants to go for a cruise...she comes down to the dock tells me "the boat is stinking with fish and smell and guts". I say "ok ,you clean it then, see ya in a little while" Then I duck and run as fast as my fat arse takes me. rofla rofla rofla rofla hhppy

SERIOUSLY  , we remove everything, use bioboat soap for the deck and coolers, and stuff like bait and  fillet boards and rinse the tackle.

Then take the bride out... chrz chrz
Stay well and good Fishing
